I like to play between the figurative and the abstract … it is not a question of a pure abstraction but rather of an interpretation of the real, an abstraction which arises from an emotion … to show, to make feel the power of the ocean, its beauty … the changing colors, a ray or a sunset, reflections in the water … everything is a pretext for this subtle game, with a search for different material effects, conducive to suggesting this life drive of Nature, a recurring theme in my work.
