Touched by the deforestation of our planet, I wanted to show with this work the number of years a tree lives… like the cut of a trunk, in a harmony of fall colors.
Evoking the « pulse of life » of nature, a recurring theme in my universe, is like a constant play between figurative and abstract. Not a pure abstraction but an interpretation of reality, and like a focal art, the framing is very close-up, one plunges into the subject.
